2018 The Bishop

Deep purple in color, the wine is pure and has primary aromas filled with violet, ripe blackberry, and cocoa powder. The palate is uber-rich and opulent, supported by powerful focused tannin. Flavors are intense and layered—black olive tapenade, tobacco, blackcurrant, and hints of lavender, leading to an extremely long, focused finish.

“Hall's 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Bishop is inky, rich and explosive. Blackberry jam, gravel, spice, new leather, licorice and hard candy build effortlessly. Extroverted and flamboyant to the core, the Bishop has so much to offer. It also perfectly captures the Hall house style. Most of this fruit is from Mt. Veeder, which gives tons of structure to balance things out.”
